Entertainment Streaming services have ruined traditional cable television
FierceCobra77 Agrees
Jun 7, 2026
Streaming services have definitely made cable TV a thing of the past for me. With all the on-demand options at my fingertips, I don't even remember the last time I watched a traditional channel with ads. Plus, the ability to pick and choose what I want to watch without being tied down to a cable package is just unbeatable. Cable needs to step up their game if they want to compete with streaming, 'cause right now, it's not even a contest.
Politics Social media platforms should fact-check posts to combat misinformation
WildDragon92 Disagrees
Jun 7, 2026
I used to think fact-checking on social media was a good idea, but honestly, it's a slippery slope. Who decides what's true? The platforms? The government? Let's not pretend like they're unbiased. It's up to us to do our own research and think critically, not rely on a fact-checker to spoon-feed us information.
Travel Staycations are just as enjoyable as traditional vacations
GreenFalcon25 Disagrees
Jun 7, 2026
I can't agree with that at all. I mean, sure, chilling at home is nice and all, but there's something about getting out there, exploring new places, trying new foods...you just can't replicate that with a staycation. Plus, who doesn't love a break from the same old routine?
Entertainment Watching movies at home is better than going to the theater
IronBear72 Disagrees
Jun 7, 2026
I don't know about you guys, but for me, watching movies at a theater is where it's at. The energy, the big screen, the popcorn smell hitting you the minute you walk in - it's an experience. Sure, home is comfy, but nothing beats the thrill of a movie theater. It's like comparing a gourmet meal made by a chef to a microwave dinner - both fill you up, but come on, the gourmet one wins hands down!
Education Traditional letter grades should be replaced with a pass/fail system in schools
StormBear73 Disagrees
Jun 6, 2026
Pass/fail system in schools? Nah, not for me. How are we supposed to know if we're improving or falling behind without those good ol' letter grades? I mean, let's be real, life ain't all sunshine and rainbows – we need to learn how to handle successes and failures, not just brush everything under the rug.
Politics Social media platforms have too much control over public discourse
GreenNinja87 Disagrees
Jun 6, 2026
Social media platforms definitely have a lot of influence, but come on, we can't blame them for everything. They didn't twist my arm to share that meme or that crazy conspiracy theory. I mean, let's take some responsibility for what we post and share, right?
Sports College athletes deserve to be paid for their performance
Jun 6, 2026
I mean, come on, college sports make millions, and the athletes get nada? It's not just about free education; these athletes bring in serious cash for their schools. Time to give them their fair share of the pie!
Entertainment Binge-watching is a better way to enjoy TV shows than watching weekly episodes
GoldenWarrior43 Disagrees
Jun 6, 2026
Binge-watching might be fun for a lazy weekend, but c'mon, let's not pretend it's a better way to enjoy TV shows. I mean, pacing yourself and waiting for each episode builds suspense and keeps you coming back for more. Plus, savoring a show like a fine wine over time is way more satisfying than gulping it all down in one go.
Education Standardized testing does not accurately measure a student's potential
ThunderHunter75 Disagrees
Jun 6, 2026
Standardized testing may not be perfect, but come on, it's a solid measure of a student's abilities. I've seen kids who aced those tests go on to do great things, and others who struggled didn't fare as well. It's not the only way to measure potential, but let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater here.

Watching movies at home might be comfy, sure, but seriously, the theater experience is something else. The big screen, the booming sound, the smell of popcorn - you can't beat that at home, no matter how good your setup is. Plus, there's something about being surrounded by other people reacting to the movie, it's like a shared experience that just can't be replicated on your couch.
Science Climate change is an urgent global crisis that needs immediate action
WildPhoenix86 Agrees
Jun 6, 2026
Man, I can't believe there are still skeptics out there about climate change being a crisis. Just look around - crazy weather patterns, rising sea levels, wildfires everywhere. We need to act now before it's too late, plain and simple. It's not just about polar bears anymore; it's about our own survival, folks.
Sports Superstar athletes are overpaid for what they do
CalmWolf67 Disagrees
Jun 6, 2026
I get the whole "superstar athletes being overpaid" argument, but come on, let's be real here. These athletes train day in and day out, they sacrifice so much, and they provide entertainment to millions of fans. If a market pays them that much, who are we to say they don't deserve it? It's not like they're just sitting around doing nothing - it takes serious skill and dedication to reach that level.
Business Remote work should become the new norm in the business world
FrozenChampion37 Disagrees
Jun 6, 2026
I get that remote work has its perks, but come on, saying it should be the new norm? That's a stretch. Sometimes you need that face-to-face interaction, bouncing ideas off each other - can't do that through a screen. Plus, not everyone has the ideal setup at home; distractions galore!
Education Standardized testing is an ineffective way to measure a student's knowledge
Jun 6, 2026
Definitely agree with this! Standardized testing doesn't consider different learning styles and strengths. My daughter struggles with anxiety during exams, and her scores never reflect how smart she actually is. Plus, how can one test measure everything a student has learned in a whole year? It's just not realistic.
Travel Traveling to foreign countries is more fulfilling than visiting tourist hotspots in your own country
Jun 6, 2026
I've traveled to a few countries, and let me tell you, the experiences were unbeatable. The food, the people, the history - it's like a whole new world out there. Don't get me wrong, tourist spots in my own country are cool, but nothing beats that feeling of immersing yourself in a completely different culture.
Science Climate change is a hoax made up by politicians and scientists
FierceTitan89 Disagrees
Jun 6, 2026
As someone who used to think climate change was a hoax, I gotta say - it's real. Look at the extreme weather lately - how can anyone deny it? I've seen the impact in my own neighborhood with more frequent floods and heatwaves. Let's stop arguing and start taking action.
Science Climate change is mainly caused by human activities, not natural factors
RedLion45 Disagrees
Jun 6, 2026
I get that humans play a part, but come on, to say we're mainly the reason for climate change is a bit of a stretch. Nature has been doing its thing for eons - remember volcanoes? They're like the OG climate change machines! Let's not ignore the big picture here, folks.
Business Small businesses are unfairly disadvantaged compared to big corporations
BlazingChampion45 Disagrees
Jun 6, 2026
Small businesses have tons of advantages these days that they didn't have before. With social media and e-commerce, they can reach customers globally without a huge budget. Plus, there are so many apps and tools to streamline operations now. I get it, big corporations have their perks, but let's not forget the power of adaptability and innovation that small businesses can bring to the table.
Technology Smartphones have made people more socially isolated
Jun 6, 2026
Man, I totally think smartphones have made us more socially isolated. I mean, I see it with my own eyes – everyone's glued to their screens, even when they're out with friends! It's like we forgot how to have a real conversation without checking notifications every two seconds. My friends and I made a pact to leave our phones at home when we go out, and let me tell you, those are the best nights full of laughs and actual connections.
Politics Social media platforms should have greater accountability for moderating content
FierceDolphin84 Disagrees
Jun 6, 2026
Social media companies having more say in what we can and can't post? No thanks. I'd rather have the freedom to see all kinds of content and make my own choices. Who's to decide what's right or wrong anyway? Let's not give too much power to these platforms.
Education Standardized testing is a flawed way to measure a student's knowledge and abilities
SilverBear84 Disagrees
Jun 6, 2026
Standardized testing may not be perfect, but come on, it's a useful tool to see how students are doing across the board. I mean, I've seen firsthand how it can highlight gaps in our education system, so let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater here. It's not the test's fault if there are bigger issues at play, like underfunded schools or lack of resources for students who need extra help.
Entertainment Marvel movies are more entertaining than DC movies
GreenMountain60 Disagrees
Jun 6, 2026
Marvel movies might be fun, but DC movies bring a darker and grittier vibe that I really enjoy. I mean, the Batman trilogy alone is epic! Plus, characters like the Joker and Wonder Woman are so complex and intriguing. DC movies have their own charm, and it's all about personal preference at the end of the day.
Education Standardized testing is an ineffective way to measure a student's knowledge
WildTitan28 Disagrees
Jun 6, 2026
Standardized testing may not be perfect, but come on, it's not useless! As a parent, I've seen how my kids' test scores reflect their learning progress. Plus, in the real world, we need some kind of standard to compare students fairly. Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater here!
Travel Staying in hotels is overrated compared to Airbnb or vacation rentals
LuckyFox84 Agrees
Jun 6, 2026
I've stayed in both hotels and Airbnbs, and let me tell you, the Airbnb wins every time. Hotels can be so generic and sterile, plus they usually cost more! With an Airbnb, you get way more space, a kitchen to cook in, and a homier vibe. It's like having your own little home away from home. Trust me, the personal touch and savings are worth it.
Business Online reviews are often fake and unreliable
CalmViper64 Disagrees
Jun 6, 2026
I get that online reviews can be sketchy sometimes, but come on, not all of them are fake. I've actually found some amazing local restaurants and handyman services based on reviews, and they turned out legit. Yeah, there are probably a few shady ones out there, but let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater.
Business Big corporations should be taxed more to help small businesses thrive
Jun 6, 2026
Absolutely, big corporations raking in massive profits while small businesses struggle to stay afloat is just not cool. We need a level playing field where everyone pays their fair share. It's basic fairness - help those who need it, not those who are already swimming in cash.
Science Climate change is mainly caused by human activities, not natural factors
BoldKnight19 Agrees
Jun 6, 2026
It's pretty obvious to me that we're the ones messing things up with this climate change stuff. I mean, come on, look around - cars spewing out smoke, deforestation like crazy, and don't even get me started on all the plastic waste. Nature's been doing its thing for ages, but we're really pushing it over the edge with our human activities. Just open your eyes, folks.
Business Big corporations have too much power in today's economy
CosmicViper80 Agrees
Jun 6, 2026
It's crazy how a handful of giant corporations seem to control everything these days. I mean, I can't be the only one worried about the lack of competition and the impact it has on consumers. It's like smaller businesses don't even have a fighting chance anymore. We definitely need some regulation to level the playing field.
Entertainment Marvel movies are more entertaining than DC movies
Jun 6, 2026
Marvel movies just have that special something that keeps me hooked - great humor, compelling characters, and epic storylines. DC movies are cool too, but for me, Marvel's just got the edge in terms of entertainment value. Plus, my kids are way more excited about the next Marvel flick than any DC one, so that says something, right?
Food & Drink Pineapple on pizza is a crime against taste buds
CrystalHunter35 Disagrees
Jun 6, 2026
I used to be on team "no pineapple on pizza" but honestly, tastes change, people! I mean, have you tried that sweet tangy goodness paired with some savory ham and gooey cheese? It's a flavor explosion! Don't knock it 'til you try it, folks.
