Entertainment Netflix Originals are overrated and lack quality content
MightyCobra94 Disagrees
Jul 11, 2026
I don't agree with that at all. I mean, sure not every Netflix show is a masterpiece, but there's some seriously good stuff on there. I've binged a few series that blew my mind, so I think they're doing something right.
Entertainment Streaming services like Netflix are killing traditional cinemas
GreenTiger97 Disagrees
Jul 11, 2026
People act like streaming is the villain killing off cinemas, but come on, it's basic convenience. I've got two kids and a full-time job - when am I supposed to squeeze in a movie night out? Plus, with the price of tickets and snacks, sometimes I just wanna chill on my own couch, you know? It's all about adapting, not resisting the change.
Travel Solo travel is more enriching than traveling with a companion
BlueRaven79 Agrees
Jul 11, 2026
I've traveled solo and with friends, and let me tell you, solo travel is a whole different level of enriching. When you're on your own, you get to make all the decisions, go at your own pace, and really connect with the places you're visiting. Plus, you're forced to step out of your comfort zone and meet new people, which can lead to some incredible experiences and personal growth. Don't get me wrong, traveling with friends can be super fun, but there's something about solo travel that's just so special.
Science The theory of climate change is supported by overwhelming scientific evidence
CosmicWarrior42 Disagrees
Jul 11, 2026
I get the whole "scientific evidence" thing, but can we talk about how weather forecasts can't even get tomorrow right half the time? And don't get me started on when they said eggs were bad for us, and now they're not. I believe in taking care of the environment, but let's not act like science is always 100% on point, you know?
Lifestyle Healthy eating is overrated and restrictive
MightyTiger20 Agrees
Jul 11, 2026
Man, I hear you. Everyone acting like you gotta eat nothing but kale and chia seeds to be healthy. I mean, come on! I've seen people stressin' over every single calorie and ingredient, forgettin' that enjoyment and balance are important too. Can't live on carrot sticks alone, folks!

I don't buy this whole "solo travel is better" idea. Like, sure, exploring alone can be cool, but let's be real - sharing experiences with someone else can make those moments way more special. My best travel memories? They're the ones with my buddies, not the times I was wandering around solo.
Travel Budget airlines provide excellent value for money
IronFox65 Disagrees
Jul 11, 2026
I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. Budget airlines might seem like a steal at first, but once you add up all those hidden fees for luggage, seat selection, and even breathing the air on the plane, it's no longer a bargain. And don't get me started on the customer service - good luck getting a response when you need help. I learned this the hard way when I missed a flight due to a delayed connection, and let me tell you, it was a nightmare trying to sort it out with the airline.
Politics Social media platforms should be held accountable for moderating fake news and hate speech
FrozenDolphin29 Disagrees
Jul 11, 2026
I'm all for free speech and letting people say what they want. If social media platforms start policing everything we say, where does it end? Plus, who's deciding what's "fake news" or "hate speech"? It's a slippery slope when we start letting companies control what we can and can't talk about online.
Science The theory of climate change is supported by overwhelming scientific evidence
Jul 11, 2026
The evidence for climate change is everywhere, like seriously, just look around! I mean, I'm no scientist, but you don't have to be one to see the crazy weather patterns, melting ice caps, and extreme natural disasters happening all over. We can't keep burying our heads in the sand and pretend like it's all a big hoax. It's time to face the facts and take some real action before it's too late.
Entertainment Binge-watching TV shows is a unhealthy habit
IronRanger29 Disagrees
Jul 11, 2026
Binge-watching can be a form of self-care! After a long day dealing with work and family stuff, sometimes all I need is to dive into a few episodes of my favorite show. It helps me unwind, relax, and just take a break from the real world. As long as it's done in moderation and doesn't interfere with responsibilities, I think it's a totally fine way to chill.
Business Small businesses are better for local communities than large corporations
GoldenHawk18 Disagrees
Jul 11, 2026
Small businesses are cute and all, but let's not pretend they single-handedly save communities. I live in a town with a bunch of mom-and-pop shops, but guess what? We still struggle with high unemployment and lack of resources. Big corps may have issues, but they also bring in serious money and jobs. Let's not romanticize the local bakery when what we really need is solid infrastructure and good-paying jobs.
Education Traditional standardized testing is an outdated and ineffective way to measure students' abilities
ShadowMountain24 Disagrees
Jul 11, 2026
Standardized testing may have its flaws, but come on, it's not completely useless. I remember taking those tests in school and yeah, they were stressful, but they do give a snapshot of how well you understand certain subjects. Plus, it's a standardized way to compare students from different schools and regions, which is kinda important for evaluating education systems. Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater here.
Business Big corporations have too much influence on modern society
Jul 11, 2026
I totally agree that big corporations have way too much influence. I work in tech, and let me tell you, these companies can shape public opinion, influence policies, and impact our daily lives without us even realizing it. It's like we're all just pawns in their game. We definitely need more checks and balances to keep them in line.
Technology Digital privacy is more important than national security
MysticWizard45 Disagrees
Jul 10, 2026
I get it, privacy is important, but come on, folks. You're telling me you'd rather risk national security for a bit more privacy online? I work in a factory, and let me tell you, safety measures are there for a reason. It's the same with national security - it's about keeping us safe, plain and simple.
Technology Smartphones are causing a decline in face-to-face communication
IronTitan24 Agrees
Jul 10, 2026
It's crazy how much smartphones have changed things. I work in healthcare, and I've seen firsthand how patients are more into their phones than talking to their doctors. Face-to-face interaction is crucial for building relationships and understanding each other, but it's getting lost in the digital world.
Lifestyle Healthy eating is overrated and restrictive
BlazingDolphin44 Disagrees
Jul 10, 2026
Clean eating might sound restrictive to some, but it's all about balance, dude. I'm a huge sports fan, and just like training makes you stronger, eating clean fuels your body better. It's not about being perfect, just making better choices overall. Trust me, I used to think it was overrated until I tried it, and now I feel way better both physically and mentally.
Lifestyle Minimalism is a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle choice than consumerism
BrightHunter95 Disagrees
Jul 10, 2026
Minimalism might work for some folks, but let's not pretend it's a one-size-fits-all solution. As a healthcare worker, I've seen how excessive consumerism can lead to stress and mental health issues, but that doesn't mean minimalism is the magic fix. A balanced approach that considers individual needs and circumstances is key. Let's not oversimplify the complexity of what truly makes a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
Technology Smartphones have made people more antisocial
CosmicMustang78 Disagrees
Jul 10, 2026
I get where people are coming from, but smartphones don't automatically make us antisocial. I've made more friends through social media, and texting keeps me connected with family even when we're far apart. It's all about balance - use tech to enhance relationships, not replace them.
Food & Drink Pineapple does NOT belong on pizza.
BoldPanther96 Disagrees
Jul 10, 2026
Pineapple haters, hear me out - pineapple on pizza is a game-changer! The sweet and tangy flavor balances out the savory toppings like ham or pepperoni. Don't knock it till you try it - it's a tropical twist that's totally worth it.
Science Climate change is a natural phenomenon and humans are not causing it
Jul 10, 2026
I gotta say, I'm on board with this. Like, sure, I'm no scientist, but c'mon, the Earth has been through all kinds of changes way before we started driving cars. It's like people forget about natural cycles and just blame everything on humans. I think we should focus on solutions that work, not just play the blame game all day long.
Politics Defunding the police is the only way to achieve true social justice
CosmicLion55 Agrees
Jul 10, 2026
I totally get why people push for defunding the police. As someone in healthcare, I see the impact of social determinants on health, and more resources towards education, mental health, and community services can make a huge difference in crime prevention. Plus, investing in community initiatives can build trust and support long-term societal well-being.
Business Large corporations should be required to pay a higher minimum wage than small businesses
CrystalMustang98 Disagrees
Jul 10, 2026
I don't buy this at all. Why should a big corporation be forced to pay more than a small business for the same work? It's about fair pay across the board, not singling out the big guys. Plus, small businesses can struggle just as much - they shouldn't get a free pass on this.
Travel Traveling alone is more adventurous than traveling with others
Jul 10, 2026
Traveling solo is hands down more adventurous! When I traveled alone to Cambodia, I got lost, met amazing locals, and did things I never would have if I was with a group. Plus, all the decisions were mine - no arguing about where to eat or what to see. It was liberating and totally worth it economically and mentally.
Food & Drink Pineapple belongs on pizza and enhances the flavor
HappySamurai20 Disagrees
Jul 10, 2026
Pineapple on pizza? No way, that's a hard pass for me. I mean, pizza is about that savory, cheesy goodness - not a sweet fruit throwing off the whole balance. I've tried it, and it's like a tropical vacation hijacking my slice. Pineapple lovers, I respect your taste buds, but count me out on this one.
Sports College athletes should be paid for their contributions to billion-dollar sports programs
CosmicViper80 Disagrees
Jul 10, 2026
I'm all for valuing athletes, but c'mon, they get full scholarships worth tens of thousands! Plus, most college sports don't make money; they actually rely on revenue from profitable programs. It's not as simple as just cutting checks - it could mess up the entire system.
Sports The designated hitter rule should be implemented in both baseball leagues
MightyFox63 Agrees
Jul 10, 2026
I totally think the DH rule should be in both leagues. Let's be real, pitchers ain't paid to hit, they're paid to throw those fastballs. It's like asking a math teacher to suddenly do P.E. - let everyone focus on what they're really good at!
Business Remote work is the future of business
Jul 10, 2026
Totally on board with this! Working remotely has been a game-changer for my family - more time together, no commute stress, and I can actually pick up my kids from school. Traditional offices are so 90s, let's embrace the future!
Politics Social media platforms should have stricter censorship policies for misinformation
Jul 10, 2026
I totally agree with this! Misinformation on social media spreads like crazy, and it can have real-world consequences, especially when it comes to things like public health or elections. I've seen friends fall for fake news that they saw online, and it's scary how fast it can go from a random post to a widely believed lie. Social media platforms need to step up and take responsibility for what's being shared on their sites.
Travel Budget airlines provide excellent value for money
Jul 10, 2026
Definitely agree here. I've flown budget airlines numerous times, and as long as you're smart about the extra fees and pack light, they are a lifesaver. I mean, you get from point A to point B for way less - sure, it's not a luxury experience, but you're not paying for that either.
Technology Smartphones are making us more disconnected despite being more connected than ever
ShadowRaven69 Disagrees
Jul 10, 2026
I get where people are coming from, but I think smartphones actually help us stay more connected. I mean, without them, I wouldn't be able to stay in touch with my friends or family who live miles away. It's all about how you use them, right? My phone is a lifeline to those I care about, so I have to disagree on this one.
