Big corporations paying higher taxes to help small businesses? Come on, that's just passing the buck. Why should they foot the bill for other businesses? How about we focus on improving the overall economic system instead of making them the bad guys? It's not that simple, folks.

Totally on board with this! As a tech person, I see the value in interactive learning tools. Why stick to pen and paper when we can have students engage in more dynamic ways, right? Plus, it makes learning way more fun - win-win in my book!

VAR is like that annoying friend who always has to chime in with their opinion even when no one asked for it. I used to think it was a good idea, but now it's just sucking the fun out of the game. Nothing beats the old days of a controversial call leading to debates for weeks - now it's all just stop-and-go with replays. Let's bring back some human error, it's what made soccer so intense in the first place!

Standardized testing is an ineffective way to measure students' intelligence and knowledge

Man, standardized tests may not be perfect, but they do give a snapshot of where students are at academically. I mean, I remember cramming for those tests back in the day, and yeah, they were stressful, but they did push me to learn the material. Plus, in a big city like mine, we need some way to measure how students are doing across the board, you know?

I get that budget airlines can save you a few bucks, but come on, have you ever been on a flight where you feel like a sardine in a can? Legroom is sacred when you're stuck in a metal tube for hours. Sure, it's nice to save money, but comfort matters too; otherwise, it's like settling for a cheap fast food burger instead of treating yourself to a gourmet meal.

Traditional homework may not be everyone's favorite, but c'mon, it's a classic for a reason. I mean, life isn't all fun and games, right? Learning to manage your time, focus, and work independently are skills you'll need in the real world. Plus, not every interactive activity is gonna hit the mark - at least homework gets the job done, usually.

It's crazy how smartphones have become like our third arm, right? I feel like people are so zoned into their screens that they forget about the world around them. I've seen it in my own family - everyone's on their phones during dinner, not even talking to each other. It's sad, man.

Online reviews are a game-changer, folks. Imagine buying something blind without knowing if it's going to fall apart in a week? I rely on those reviews like I rely on my morning coffee - they guide me to the good stuff and save me from the duds. Sure, some reviews can be dodgy, but overall, they've got my back. Trust me, they're a godsend in this wild world of online shopping!

College athletes should definitely get paid! I mean, these students bring in crazy money for their schools and get peanuts in return. It's like working a full-time job for free while everyone else cashes in on your hard work. Plus, being a parent, I know how important it is for young athletes to have some financial stability, especially if they come from lower-income families. Pay up, colleges!

I used to lean more on the side of "blame social media for everything", but I've shifted a bit. Holding platforms responsible for every bit of misinformation is a slippery slope. People need to take responsibility for their own critical thinking skills and not rely on big tech to police their every thought. It's a tough issue, but I think we have to find a balance instead of just pointing fingers at Facebook or Twitter for everything.

I get that misinformation is a huge problem, especially in politics, but putting the onus on social media platforms to fact-check everything is just too much. They're companies, not truth police! People need to take responsibility for verifying info themselves instead of relying on a platform to hold their hand. It's a slippery slope when we start asking corporations to dictate what's true and what's not - that's a power I don't want them to have.

I seriously can't with this theory. As someone in the tech world, I've seen how data can be manipulated, but climate change ain't one of those cases. I get that sustainability is important, but let's get real here - businesses need to make money to survive. It's great to care about the environment, but if a company tanks because they're not profitable, how are they supposed to make any positive impact at all? Finding a middle ground is key, not going all in on one extreme.

Small businesses are the backbone of our economy! They bring diversity, creativity, and vitality to our communities.
