Binge-watching TV shows is a valid hobby

Absolutely, binge-watching TV shows is a valid hobby in my book. I mean, I work hard during the week; why can't I unwind by enjoying a whole season of my favorite show over the weekend? It's my choice how I spend my free time, and if relaxing with some entertainment makes me happy, then so be it.

I get it, we all need downtime. But let's not kid ourselves that binge-watching is some super enriching hobby. I work in healthcare, and let me tell you, there are way better ways to unwind and take care of yourself that don't involve sitting on the couch for hours on end. Moderation, people!

My weekends revolve around gaming, so who am I to judge binge-watching? I mean, I'll spend hours grinding levels or exploring new worlds without a second thought. Plus, if watching back-to-back episodes of my favorite show helps someone unwind or brings them joy, why not call it a valid hobby? Let people enjoy what they enjoy, man.
