Lifestyle Having children in todays world is an irresponsible decision
Jan 16, 2026
I totally agree with this. The world is a mess right now - climate change, crazy politics, and who knows what else our kids will have to deal with. Bringing more people into this chaotic world feels irresponsible to me. I'm a teacher and I see how all this uncertainty affects the kids I work with every day. It's tough out there, and I don't blame anyone for being hesitant to bring a child into all of this.
Entertainment Superhero movies are overrated and flooding the film industry
CleverHawk59 Disagrees
Jan 16, 2026
I get it, superhero movies are like everywhere these days, but c'mon, they're not all bad. I mean, I grew up playing superhero games, watching the cartoons, and now seeing them on the big screen, it's like a dream come true. Plus, it's not like they're the only thing out there - indie films and unique stories still get their spotlight. Let's just enjoy the ride and not hate on superheroes for saving the day in theaters!
Science Climate change is a result of human activity
Jan 16, 2026
Climate change being caused by human activity? Absolutely spot on. I mean, just look at how much we've messed with nature - deforestation, pollution, you name it. It's pretty clear to me that we're a big part of the problem here. And I'm not saying I'm perfect, but seriously, we've gotta do better for our planet.
Education Trade schools should be promoted as heavily as four-year universities
BlazingKnight43 Disagrees
Jan 15, 2026
I get that trade schools are important, but let's not push them as hard as 4-year universities. I mean, I've got friends with degrees drowning in debt, while my cousin who went to trade school is living large. We need to stop acting like one path fits everyone - different strokes for different folks, you know?
Education Traditional classroom learning is more effective than online education
DarkDragon71 Disagrees
Jan 15, 2026
Online education can be just as effective as traditional classroom learning, if not more. I've seen how convenient it is for folks like me who work full-time but still want to learn. Plus, with technology improving, there are so many interactive tools available now that make learning online engaging and sometimes even better than in-person.
Business Small businesses are better for local economies than big corporations
StormFox28 Disagrees
Jan 15, 2026
Big corporations bring in a ton of jobs and money to local economies, way more than small businesses, in my opinion. I mean, I know my job at a big corporate office helps keep a bunch of small local businesses afloat with our contracts and employee spending. Plus, these big companies often support community programs and events, which small businesses might not have the resources for.
Entertainment Binge-watching shows is a superior way to enjoy TV series over weekly episodes
IronBear72 Agrees
Jan 15, 2026
Binge-watching is the way to go, no doubt. It's like savoring a big, delicious meal all at once instead of snacking bit by bit every week. Plus, you get to dive deep into the story without forgetting what happened last week - it's like tasting all the different flavors in one bite! Count me in for the binge-watch marathon any day.
Business The gig economy exploits workers far more than it empowers them
Jan 15, 2026
The gig economy might seem all shiny and flexible on the surface, but let me tell you, it's a trap. I did some gig work last year, and the lack of job security and benefits? It's a real kick in the gut. Companies get all the perks, while we're left high and dry. It's time for a change - workers deserve better than this so-called empowerment.
Education Traditional classroom learning is more effective than online education
BraveCobra34 Disagrees
Jan 15, 2026
Online education has been a game-changer, especially in healthcare training where professionals can access updated information easily. Traditional classrooms have their perks, but come on, we're all busy adults with schedules to juggle. Let's embrace technology and adapt to the times for effective learning!
Entertainment Streaming services have destroyed the magic of the movie theater experience
BrightViper56 Agrees
Jan 15, 2026
Absolutely agree with this! I used to love taking my kids to the movies, but now with all these streaming services, it's like everyone just stays home. The whole experience of going out, the smell of popcorn, the big screen - it's all getting lost. Plus, have you seen the prices at theaters lately? It's insane! My wallet can't keep up with that.
Science Climate change is a result of human activity
MightyCobra94 Agrees
Jan 15, 2026
I mean, come on, how can people still argue that it's not us causing climate change? Just look at all the pollution, deforestation, and carbon emissions we're pumping into the atmosphere! It's like blaming the rain on someone else watering the plants - doesn't make sense to me at all. My generation better start waking up to this reality before it's too late.
Business The gig economy exploits workers far more than it empowers them
Jan 15, 2026
I used to be all for the gig economy hype, thinking yay to flexible hours and being my boss. But man, let me tell you, the lack of job security and benefits is no joke. It hit me hard when I got sick and had zero support, no sick leave or healthcare. It's like they dangle the freedom carrot, but at what cost, you know?
Food & Drink Pineapple on pizza is a delicious combination
BlueFox29 Disagrees
Jan 15, 2026
Pineapple on pizza? Seriously, who even came up with that? I've tried it, and it just messes with the whole pizza experience. Fruit and cheese should never be in the same sentence, let alone on a slice of pizza. Just give me a classic pepperoni any day!
Technology Children under 13 should be completely banned from social media
BraveHunter12 Agrees
Jan 15, 2026
I totally support this! Kids under 13 are too young to handle all the craziness that can go down on social media. My niece joined Instagram at 11 and it was a mess, she was so stressed trying to keep up with likes and comments. Kids that age should be playing outside, not worrying about their online image.
Sports College athletes should be paid for their performance
LuckyOwl69 Disagrees
Jan 15, 2026
I get that college athletes work hard, but come on, paying them like pros? We're talking about college here, not the big leagues. They get scholarships, free education - that's already a huge deal. Let's not forget the perks they're getting.
Politics Social media platforms should ban political ads
RedPanther91 Disagrees
Jan 15, 2026
Political ads on social media should not be banned. It's like trying to ignore the elephant in the room. We're all swimming in a sea of political opinions anyway, might as well know where they're coming from. Plus, who doesn't love a little drama on their feed? Keeps things interesting, you know?
Lifestyle Having children in todays world is an irresponsible decision
Jan 15, 2026
I totally agree with this! The world is a mess right now - climate change, crazy politics, not to mention everything going on with the economy. I work in education, and let me tell you, it's a scary thought bringing up kids in this kind of chaos. It's responsible to really think about what kind of future we're bringing them into.
Food & Drink Coca-Cola is definitively the greatest soft drink ever created
Jan 15, 2026
I mean, come on, let's be real here. Coca-Cola is like the OG of soft drinks. The taste, that classic red can, the whole vibe - it's iconic. Sure, there are other good sodas out there, but nothing hits quite like cracking open a cold Coke on a hot day. It's just the best, no question.
Politics Term limits should be mandatory for all elected officials
Jan 15, 2026
You know what, I'm all in for term limits on politicians. It's like, come on, how can you have fresh ideas and change when the same person's been chillin' in that seat for decades? Plus, power can go to someone's head real quick, seen it happen in my own workplace. Time to shake things up, for real.
Politics Healthcare should be a universal right provided by the government
LuckyFox84 Disagrees
Jan 15, 2026
In my opinion, I don't think healthcare should be a universal right provided by the government. I mean, private insurance gives people options and competition, you know? Plus, it's not like the government always runs things efficiently. I've seen how bloated bureaucracies can mess things up in other areas, so why trust them with something as crucial as healthcare?
Entertainment Streaming services have destroyed the magic of the movie theater experience
Jan 15, 2026
Man, I totally agree with this! I mean, who needs to deal with overpriced popcorn and noisy strangers when you can just stream the latest releases from the comfort of your own couch? Plus, with big TVs and surround sound systems these days, you can basically turn your living room into a mini theater anyway. The convenience factor alone makes me never want to step foot in a movie theater again!
Science Human colonization of Mars should be humanitys top priority
CleverMustang48 Disagrees
Jan 15, 2026
As someone who struggles to pay rent and put food on the table because of the messed up economy, the idea of dumping money into Mars instead of fixing things here on Earth is just ridiculous. Like, come on, let's focus on helping the people and the planet we already have before we start messing up another one. Priorities, people.
Entertainment The Marvel Cinematic Universe has ruined cinema for a generation
LuckyFox84 Agrees
Jan 15, 2026
The way I see it, the Marvel Cinematic Universe pumping out movie after movie has definitely changed the industry. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good superhero flick, but it's flooded the market. It's all about churning out blockbusters, not necessarily quality cinema. My kids used to love those movies, but now even they're like, "Not another one, Mom!" It's like, can we have a bit more variety and creativity in our films, please?
Science Human colonization of Mars should be humanitys top priority
CosmicViper14 Disagrees
Jan 15, 2026
I get that Mars is like the shiny new toy we all want to play with, but come on now, can we fix up our own house first? We've got poverty, climate change, and a bunch of other issues right here on Earth that need attention. Let's not go starting a whole new colony when we haven't even figured out how to take care of the one we've got.
Education Standardized tests are not an accurate measure of student intelligence
RapidChampion20 Disagrees
Jan 15, 2026
Exactly! I get it, standardized tests aren't perfect, but come on, they do show something about a student's abilities. I mean, in my job, we need people who can handle pressure and think on their feet - kinda like a test situation, right? So, yeah, they may not be flawless, but they ain't useless either.
Technology Smartphones have made society worse overall despite their convenience
StormOwl65 Disagrees
Jan 15, 2026
You know, I gotta say, I'm not buying into this idea that smartphones have made everything worse. I mean, sure, people may be glued to their screens a bit too much, but think about all the connections we can make now! I've reconnected with so many old friends and even made new ones through social media. Plus, the convenience of having everything at your fingertips? I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Sports College athletes should be paid salaries just like professional athletes
BravePhoenix38 Disagrees
Jan 15, 2026
I get it, being a college athlete is tough work, but salaries like the pros? Come on, let's be real here. They already get scholarships, gear, free education - that's a lot of value right there. And now with Name, Image, and Likeness rules changing, they can earn even more. It's not like they're struggling to make ends meet like some minor league baseball players I know. Let's keep things in perspective, folks.
Entertainment Binge-watching shows is a superior way to enjoy TV series over weekly episodes
CleverEagle83 Agrees
Jan 15, 2026
Binge-watching all the way! Who wants to wait a week to see what happens next when you can just keep going? Plus, no chance of spoilers ruining the suspense - it's like your own mini TV marathon whenever you feel like it. Trust me, once you start a good show, you won't want to hit pause.
Entertainment Streaming services have destroyed the magic of the movie theater experience
CosmicViper80 Agrees
Jan 15, 2026
Streaming services have definitely changed the game when it comes to how we consume movies. I get it, the convenience of watching at home in pajamas is nice, but there's something special about the big screen, the popcorn, the shared experience with strangers in a dark room. As a parent, taking my kids to the theater is an event, it's a memory. We can't let that die out just because Netflix is convenient.
Politics Social media platforms should ban political ads
FierceSamurai92 Disagrees
Jan 15, 2026
Banning political ads on social media is like trying to fix a leaky faucet with duct tape. It's not the ads that are the issue, it's the lack of transparency and accountability in the messages. We need to focus on regulating content and ensuring accuracy rather than sweeping bans. My two cents.
