Video assistant referees (VAR) have made football more fair

Has VAR improved the fairness and accuracy of football matches or just caused more controversy?

Totally onboard with this! VAR might slow down the game a bit, but come on, it really does help in making the right calls. As someone in tech, I get that glitches happen, but hey, it's a work in progress that can genuinely make football fairer. Let's cut it some slack, yeah?

VAR has definitely made football matches more fair in my opinion. I've lost count of how many times a wrong call changed the whole game before VAR came along. Yeah, it might slow things down a bit, but come on, getting the calls right is what matters most.

VAR is a game-changer, folks! I mean, come on, how many times have we seen a wrong call ruin a match? With VAR, we get a fair shot at getting it right. Sure, it might cause a stir, but hey, better to get it right than let a bad call decide the game.

Definitely, VAR has made football matches more fair. I mean, come on, we've all seen those goals or penalties being wrongly called in the past. With VAR, at least there's a chance to correct those errors and give teams a fair shot. It's not perfect, but hey, progress is progress.

Man, VAR in football? It's been a game-changer for sure. I remember watching matches before VAR, and some decisions were just plain unfair. Now, at least there's some accountability and fairness in the game. I mean, sure, it's not flawless, but it's better than relying solely on human error.

Totally agree! VAR isn't perfect, but it's definitely helped level the playing field. Gotta appreciate the effort to get things right.

I'm sorry but I gotta say, VAR hasn't made football more fair, it's made it more frustrating! All these long pauses for checks, goals being disallowed for the tiniest offside - it's killing the flow of the game. I miss the days when the ref's decision was final, even if it meant some mistakes.

I get the intention behind VAR, but has it really made football more fair? I mean, yeah, it catches mistakes, but the whole drama around it and the delays kill the game's flow. I'd rather have a little human error than all this fuss.

Totally agree, VAR can sometimes take away from the game's natural energy. It's a tough balance between fairness and flow.

I see where you're coming from, but don't you think accuracy should outweigh a bit of disruption?
