The designated hitter rule should be adopted in both the National and American Leagues in Major League Baseball

Should both leagues allow pitchers to focus on pitching without worrying about hitting?

I get the argument, but come on, part of the fun of baseball is seeing the strategy in play. Plus, as someone who actually plays in a neighborhood league, it's not impossible for pitchers to hit decently with practice. Let's keep the game interesting and let everyone swing for the fences!

As someone who's been watching baseball for years, I gotta say I'm not a fan of this idea. I get it, pitchers usually aren't the best hitters, but come on, that's part of the game! Plus, it adds some unpredictability and strategy - you never know when a pitcher might surprise you with a clutch hit. Let's keep things interesting and stick with the traditional rules on this one.
