It's simple - the designated hitter rule just takes away a whole strategy element of the game. I mean, come on, half the fun is watching the pitchers try to hit! It's like a bonus round in a video game - you never know what's gonna happen. Keep the DH out of the National League, that's what I say.

I get what you're saying about the strategy element, but do you think there could be any benefits to having a designated hitter in both leagues? Just curious!
