Smartphones definitely have made people more socially disconnected. I mean, just look around - everyone's glued to their screens instead of talking to each other. I've seen friends at dinner parties all just scrolling through their phones instead of having a real conversation. It's sad, man. We need to put those things down and actually engage with each other.

Absolutely agree with this. I've seen kids at my school glued to their phones during lunch instead of talking to each other. It's like they're in their own little worlds, ignoring the people right in front of them. Smartphones have definitely made us more disconnected socially, no doubt about it.

I think smartphones get a bad rap sometimes. Sure, they can be distracting, but they also keep me connected to friends and family 24/7. I've made so many new connections through social media that I wouldn't have had otherwise. It's all about balance, folks!

Man, I really don't buy into this whole "smartphones make us socially disconnected" argument. I mean, sure, there are times when people are glued to their screens, but my friends and I use them to stay connected - we share memes, make plans, and chat all the time. I think it's all about how you use them, y'know? Like in that movie "Her," technology can bring people together if we let it.

I gotta say, I don't think smartphones have made us more socially disconnected. If anything, they've helped me stay in touch with friends and family, especially during this whole pandemic mess. Plus, with all the messaging apps and video calls, I've actually felt more connected than ever. Just gotta set those boundaries and not let the phone take over, you know?
