Totally agree with this. I've seen friends at gatherings all buried in their phones, not even talking to each other. It's like we've forgotten how to have a proper conversation without staring at a screen every two minutes. Real face-to-face interaction is becoming a lost art, and that's just sad.

I totally get where this argument is coming from, but personally, I don't think smartphones are ruining our face-to-face communication skills. I teach teenagers every day, and let me tell you - they're actually using technology to communicate in all kinds of creative ways. It's not about the device, it's about how we choose to use it.
