I've seen it firsthand - people glued to their screens even when they're out with friends or family. It's like the art of conversation is dying a slow death. We're so busy checking our notifications that we forget to look up and engage with the world around us. It's like, hey, put the phone down for a sec and let's actually connect, ya know?

I get where people are coming from, but I gotta say I disagree. Smartphones have actually helped me stay connected with friends and family, especially those who live far away. Plus, with social media, I've been able to meet new people and join communities I wouldn't have found otherwise. Real life interactions are great, but let's not underestimate the power of technology in bringing people together.
