Definitely agree with this. I mean, how many times have I seen friends hanging out but everyone's just staring at their phones? It's like we're more interested in what's happening online than right in front of us. Social skills are seriously taking a hit these days, folks.

Totally agree with this! I see everyone at restaurants buried in their phones instead of talking. It's crazy how we're all physically present but mentally somewhere else. I've made a rule at my house: no phones during dinner. It's nice to actually chat with each other without distractions.

I get the concern, but come on, let's not blame smartphones for everything. I've made plenty of friends online through gaming and social media that I wouldn't have met otherwise. It's all about balance - you can be social in real life and online too. Can't just paint it all with one brush.
