Are smartphones causing us to disconnect from real-life interactions?

Smartphones are definitely making us antisocial. I mean, have you seen a group of friends at a restaurant, all buried in their phones instead of talking? It's happening all the time! I've even caught myself scrolling mindlessly instead of engaging with people around me. Let's face it, these devices can be addictive and seriously mess with our real-life connections.

Totally agree with this! I mean, have you been to a restaurant lately? Everyone's just glued to their screens instead of talking to each other. It's like we've forgotten how to have a real conversation without looking at our phones every two seconds. I catch myself doing it too, but it's definitely not helping us connect with each other like we used to.

I get what you're saying, but do you think smartphones could maybe also help introverted folks feel more comfortable in social settings? Just a thought.
