It's crazy how true this is. I mean, just look around - everyone's head buried in their phones instead of chatting with the person next to them. I caught my kids at dinner the other night, all on their phones - had to institute a no-phones rule! We're all so addicted to screens, we forget to connect with the real world right in front of us.

I get where people are coming from, but I don't think smartphones are the sole reason for disconnection. If anything, they've helped me stay in touch with friends and family, especially during this pandemic. It's more about how we use technology, not the tech itself. So, blaming smartphones for everything seems a bit oversimplified to me.

I get why some folks think smartphones are ruining social connections, but c'mon, let's be real - they also help us stay connected with friends and family we can't see all the time. I've reconnected with old pals through social media and even made new friends online who I chat with daily, so saying smartphones are making us isolated? Nah, that's a stretch.

Totally agree! Smartphones have definitely helped me stay connected with loved ones far away. It's all about balance, I think.
