As a college athlete myself, let me tell you, it's no joke how much time and effort goes into training and competitions. The NCAA is making bank off our sweat and tears, so yeah, a piece of that pie would be nice. Scholarships are cool and all, but cash in hand can really help out, especially for athletes from low-income backgrounds. It's about time they get what they deserve!

There's no denying college athletes work hard, but come on - getting a free education, room, and board on top of all this? As a small business owner, I don't get guaranteed scholarships for doing what I love, so why should athletes? College sports are already a bit of a mess - paying them would just make it even more complicated.

Honestly, I used to think college athletes should get paid, but now I'm not so sure. I mean, they're already getting a free education, room, and board - that's a pretty sweet deal. Plus, where does it stop? Should student musicians and actors get paid too? It's a slippery slope, in my opinion.
