College athletes should be paid for playing sports.

I get it, being a college athlete is tough, but come on, they're getting a free education out of it! Back in my day, we worked part-time jobs while studying to make ends meet. These athletes are already getting a great opportunity to further their education - getting paid on top of that is just asking for too much. They should learn the value of hard work and discipline like we all did.

Man, I get that college athletes work hard, but getting a free education worth tens of thousands of dollars isn't exactly chump change. I mean, I'd love to get paid to play sports in school, but let's keep things in perspective here. It's a privilege to even have the opportunity to play at that level, let alone get a free education out of it.
