Politics Social media platforms have a responsibility to moderate content for misinformation
May 28, 2026
Definitely, social media platforms need to step up and take responsibility for the misinformation circulating on their sites. I've seen too many wild theories and fake news articles shared around without any fact-checking. It's causing real harm, especially when it comes to public health issues or political events. These companies have the power to control what's being spread, so they should use it for good.
Entertainment Netflix has ruined the traditional movie theater experience.
May 28, 2026
I've been going to theaters since I was a kid, and let me tell you, it's not the same anymore. People are glued to their phones, talking loudly, and treating the place like their living room. Traditional moviegoing etiquette seems dead, and I blame the convenience of streaming services like Netflix for making folks forget how to behave in public. It's sad to see the magic of the big screen fading away.
Travel Traveling solo is a better experience than traveling with a group

I get the appeal of solo travel, but come on, have you ever been on a group trip with your best buds or family? The laughs, shared experiences, random inside jokes - you can't beat that. Plus, safety in numbers, am I right? I'd choose group travel any day over being lonely in a foreign country, trying to figure out maps and menus all by myself.
Science Climate change is a hoax made up by politicians and scientists

I mean, come on, how can anyone seriously think climate change is a hoax? Look around, the wildfires, the hurricanes - they're getting worse! It's not rocket science, it's common sense. We gotta stop arguing and start doing something about it before it's too late.

Man, I gotta say, I don't buy that social media is all bad for relationships. I mean, I've reconnected with old friends, stayed in touch with family miles away, even made new buddies through online communities. It's all about how you use it, you know? My relationships have definitely benefited from social media, no doubt.

I gotta say, I think online reviews are still super helpful. I mean, sure, there might be some fake ones out there, but I've found some great local spots based on reviews and they've been spot on. Plus, I always leave reviews myself, and I ain't no fake account!

Business Minimum wage should be raised to $15 per hour nationwide
NobleRiver57 Agrees
May 28, 2026
Man, I totally think the minimum wage should be $15 across the board. I mean, let's get real - the cost of living keeps going up, but wages? Not so much. I've seen people working their butts off and still struggling to make ends meet. It's about time we give them a fair shot at a decent living, don't you think?
Entertainment Superhero movies are becoming oversaturated in Hollywood
May 28, 2026
It's like every other movie these days is a superhero flick! I mean, come on, I get it, they're popular, but seriously, can we get some variety? I used to love superhero movies, but now it's just overload. Give me something new and fresh, Hollywood!

I get it, everyone wants more money - me too! But forcing businesses to hike up wages to $15 per hour across the board? Come on, that's a recipe for disaster. Small businesses are gonna struggle, prices will go up, and some jobs might even disappear. Let's be realistic about this - we need smart solutions, not just blanket policies that sound good on paper.

It's pretty clear to me that humans are a big part of what's messing up the planet. I mean, just look at all the pollution we create with our cars and factories. Sports College athletes should be paid for their contributions to their school's sports programs
BrightOwl93 Agrees
May 27, 2026
It's insane how much money college sports rake in, and these athletes barely see a dime. I mean, they're out there busting their butts, bringing in the fans, and what do they get? Some free textbooks and a pat on the back? Come on, man! They deserve a piece of that lucrative pie they're baking!

Sports Playing college sports should be considered a full-time job
May 27, 2026
Totally agree, man! People forget that balancing college academics with the demands of being a student-athlete is like having two full-time jobs at once. The practices, games, travel - it's a grind. They deserve more than just a scholarship, come on!

I've gotta say, I'm all for solo travel. It's like cooking for yourself versus having a big potluck - you get to savor every bite without compromise. Don't get me wrong, group trips can be fun, but there's nothing quite like wandering off the beaten path and setting your own schedule. Traveling solo is freedom, pure and simple.

I mean, yeah, climate change is serious and all, but come on, people acting like nothing else matters. Have you seen the state of education lately? We need to tackle multiple issues at once if we wanna have a shot at a better future.

I get the appeal of remote work, but let's be real, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. I need face-to-face interaction with my coworkers, and my kids need a break from me during the day, trust me. Plus, our neighborhood benefits when people actually leave their homes and support local businesses. It's all about balance, folks.
Science Chemtrails are a real phenomenon and not just a conspiracy theory
May 27, 2026
I get why some folks dismiss chemtrails as just a conspiracy theory, but c'mon, let's think critically. I've noticed weird crisscross patterns in the sky and sometimes there's this lingering haze. Plus, with all the crazy stuff governments have done in the past, why is it so hard to believe they might mess with the atmosphere too? Just saying.

People love to complain about political correctness like it’s the end of the world, but come on, let's not pretend like basic decency is some huge burden. Sports Professional athletes are overpaid for their contribution to society
May 27, 2026
As someone who busts my butt in a factory every day, I gotta say, athletes getting paid millions to play a game is ridiculous. I mean, sure, they're talented and all, but let's be real - they're not saving lives or inventing stuff that changes the world. It's just entertainment at the end of the day. Give me a break with that "contribution to society" nonsense.
