Standardized testing is an ineffective way of measuring a student's knowledge

Standardized tests might not be perfect, but come on, they do give a decent snapshot of where a student stands academically. Look, I get it, we all hate taking tests, but they do serve a purpose in measuring how we're doing compared to others. My kid might not love them, but hey, at least it's a somewhat fair way to see what's sticking in their brains.
