Lifestyle Social media does more harm than good for personal relationships
SilverHunter29 Disagrees
Jun 19, 2026
Social media has its downsides, sure, but saying it does more harm than good for personal relationships is a stretch. I've reconnected with old friends, stayed in touch with family who live far away, and even met my partner through social media. It's all about how you use it, folks - moderation is key, not blaming the platform for everything!
Politics Compulsory voting should be implemented in all democratic countries
MightyTiger67 Disagrees
Jun 19, 2026
I get that getting folks to vote is important, but ya can't force people to do it. I mean, most folks ain't out here tryin' to mess with no government, they're just doin' their thing. Plus, some of us out here in the boonies rely on our freedom to vote or not, and I ain't givin' that up to some big city idea.
Politics The two-party system in politics is outdated and harmful for democracy
Jun 19, 2026
I don't know about you guys, but I'm tired of this whole two-party monopoly in politics. It's like choosing between plain oatmeal and slightly flavored oatmeal - where's the variety?? We need more options on the menu, different flavors, so we can really pick what suits us best. This whole system just feels outdated, like trying to run Windows 95 in 2021 - time for an upgrade, people!
Business Loyalty programs are just a sneaky way for companies to manipulate customers into spending more
ThunderBear79 Agrees
Jun 19, 2026
Oh man, I totally agree with this! I own a small business, and implementing a loyalty program was like a lightbulb moment for boosting sales. It's all about playing on people's emotions to keep them coming back and spending more. Let's face it, those 'points' aren't really free - they're just pushing you to open your wallet again and again.
Business Unlimited vacation policies are a scam for employees
ThunderEagle20 Disagrees
Jun 19, 2026
Unlimited vacation policies a scam? Nah, I don't buy it. It's like saying unlimited toppings on a pizza is a scam - maybe you won't add all the pineapple and olives, but having the option is great! Look, in my job, having flexibility to take time off when I need it is like adding extra cheese - it just makes everything better.
Entertainment Superhero movies are overrated and flooding the movie industry
Jun 19, 2026
I mean, don't get me wrong, I love a good superhero movie just as much as the next person, but seriously, how many Spider-Man reboots do we need? It's like Hollywood is stuck on repeat with capes and powers. Let's give other genres and stories a chance to shine, you know?
Sports The designated hitter should be used in both the American and National Leagues
BoldRanger97 Disagrees
Jun 19, 2026
I've gotta say, I'm not on board with this at all. Baseball's got history, tradition, and strategy - the DH rule messes with all that. It's cool having different leagues with their own vibe. Let the NL keep the pitchers hitting, I say.
Food & Drink Pineapple truly belongs on pizza
CrystalWizard91 Disagrees
Jun 19, 2026
Pineapple on pizza? No way, Jose. I mean, I get the whole sweet-savory thing, but to me, it's like mixing tennis and football - just doesn't work. Give me pepperoni and extra cheese any day, keep the fruit salad off my slice!
Business Employee dress codes in the workplace are unnecessary in today's society
GoldenHawk18 Agrees
Jun 19, 2026
You know what? I totally agree with this. I mean, come on, who cares if someone wears jeans or a suit to work? As long as they're getting the job done, does it really matter what they look like? I've seen some of the most brilliant minds in tech show up in sneakers and t-shirts, and they're killing it. Dress codes feel outdated and honestly just get in the way of people being themselves.
Sports Athletes deserve their high salaries because of the revenue they generate
SilverLion72 Disagrees
Jun 19, 2026
I get that athletes bring in big bucks, but come on, they're already living the dream getting paid to play a game. Teachers, nurses, they do crucial jobs too, but don't see those fat paychecks. How about we value work that truly impacts society more?
Education Standardized testing is an ineffective way to measure student knowledge
Jun 19, 2026
Absolutely agree with this! Standardized testing doesn't show the full picture. I mean, how can a single test measure all the different ways students learn and understand things? My philosophy is that education should be about more than just filling in bubbles on a scantron.
Education Traditional letter grades should be replaced with a pass/fail system in schools
RapidEagle91 Disagrees
Jun 19, 2026
I get the whole "holistic approach" thing, but come on, pass/fail for everything? How's that gonna give me a clear idea of my kids' progress in school? Letter grades might not be perfect, but at least they give me some details on where they're struggling or excelling. Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater here.
Travel All-inclusive resorts are the best way to travel
CrystalViper55 Disagrees
Jun 19, 2026
All-inclusive resorts ain't it for me. I mean, sure, unlimited drinks sound nice, but you're basically in a bubble, isolated from the real culture and people of a place. I'd rather wander through local markets, chat with folks, and really soak in the vibe of a new destination. Travel's about experiencing the world, not staying in a fancy bubble, am I right?
Food & Drink Pineapple on pizza is an absolute abomination
IronSamurai90 Disagrees

Pineapple on pizza is a game-changer, people! The sweet and tangy flavor pairs perfectly with savory toppings. Don't knock it till you try it, haters!
Food & Drink Pineapple on pizza is an absolute abomination
Jun 18, 2026
As a firm believer in culinary decency, I have to agree - pineapple on pizza is like a crime against taste buds. I mean, who thought putting a tropical fruit on a perfectly good pizza was a good idea? Let's keep the pineapple on the cocktails and off the slices!
Science GMOs are safe to eat and can help address world hunger
BlazingViper92 Disagrees
Jun 18, 2026
I'm sorry, but I have a hard time trusting GMOs completely. Like, sure, they might help with food production, but what about the long-term effects on our health? Call me old-fashioned, but I'd rather stick to natural, non-GMO options whenever possible.
Lifestyle Social media does more harm than good for personal relationships
CosmicEagle54 Agrees
Jun 18, 2026
Social media definitely does more harm than good for personal relationships. People spend more time scrolling through their feeds than actually talking to the people next to them. It's like everyone's in their own little game, trying to one-up each other with their posts. I've seen friendships fade away because of stupid online drama that would never have happened in real life. It's sad, really.
Business Small businesses are crucial for a thriving economy
Jun 18, 2026
Small businesses are the backbone of any economy. I started my own business, and let me tell you, it ain't easy. But the innovation, jobs, and community impact they bring? Priceless. Big companies are cool and all, but small businesses, man, they're where the heart of the economy beats.
Education Standardized testing is an inaccurate measure of a student's abilities
BrightEagle24 Disagrees
Jun 18, 2026
I get that standardized testing isn't perfect, but come on, it's not the devil. I mean, we used them back in the day, and we turned out just fine, right? Sometimes you just gotta take a test, show what you know, and move on. Life's full of challenges, so let's not baby everyone too much.
Business Employee dress codes in the workplace are unnecessary in today's society
LuckyFox84 Agrees
Jun 18, 2026
Definitely agree with this! I've seen too many workplaces obsessing over how people dress instead of focusing on their actual work. I mean, who cares if someone wears jeans or a suit as long as they're killing it in their job? Plus, with the rise of remote work and flexible schedules, it's becoming even more outdated to police what employees wear. Let's move on from this outdated practice and focus on what really matters - productivity and results!
Business Remote work should become the new norm in the business world
StormHawk14 Agrees
Jun 18, 2026
I gotta say, working remotely has been a game-changer for me. I used to spend hours commuting, and now I can get more done at home. Plus, I can spend more time with my family instead of being stuck in a stuffy office all day. It's not for everyone, but for me, it's the way to go!
Travel Traveling is more about experiences than luxury
DarkWizard77 Disagrees
Jun 18, 2026
I mean, come on, let's be real here. I love a good adventure as much as the next guy, but let's not pretend like a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom don't matter when you're on the road. Sure, experiences are great, but if I can have those AND a little luxury, count me in. Can't we have the best of both worlds?
Politics Social media platforms should fact-check posts to combat misinformation
Jun 18, 2026
There's so much fake news circulating online, it's insane! I mean, I've seen posts spreading straight-up lies about health, politics, you name it. Social media companies should definitely step up and fact-check this stuff before it spreads like wildfire. It's about time we have some accountability on these platforms!
Education Standardized testing is an ineffective way to measure student knowledge
MightyCobra94 Disagrees
Jun 18, 2026
Standardized testing may not be perfect, but it's not totally useless either. I mean, sure, it may not capture everything a student knows, but it does give a general idea of where they stand academically. In my experience, it helped me identify my strengths and weaknesses and motivated me to work harder.
Technology Smartphones have made people more socially isolated
DarkDragon71 Agrees
Jun 18, 2026
I mean, have you seen a group of friends at a restaurant lately? Half the time they're not even talking to each other, just scrolling through their phones! It's like we've all forgotten how to have a real conversation without a screen in front of us. I know for a fact that since getting glued to my phone, I've lost touch with people I used to see all the time. It's sad, really.
Sports College athletes deserve to be paid for their performance
ThunderPanther50 Disagrees
Jun 18, 2026
I get that college athletes work hard, but come on, they're already getting scholarships worth big bucks. And let's be real, most college sports programs aren't swimming in cash. The money has to come from somewhere - like tuition, maybe? IMO, let's focus on bigger issues like student debt and access to education for everyone - that's where the real change needs to happen.
Travel Airbnb accommodations are better than hotels for a true travel experience
Jun 18, 2026
I've traveled a lot, and let me tell ya, Airbnb all the way! Staying in someone's home or apartment gives you a taste of the local life - you can shop at markets, cook with local ingredients, and chat with neighbors. Hotels are cool and all, but if you want a real travel experience, go Airbnb, my friends.
Entertainment Binge-watching TV shows is ruining the experience of watching weekly episodes
GoldenKnight45 Disagrees
Jun 18, 2026
I get why some folks miss the old days of waiting a week for the next episode, but c'mon, who has time for that now? Streaming all at once is a binge-watcher's dream! Plus, I can't count the times I've rewatched a season because I forgot stuff in between episodes. Ain't nobody got time for that with weekly releases!
Science Vaccines should be mandatory for school admission
BlazingEagle98 Disagrees
Jun 18, 2026
As someone who works in healthcare, I gotta say I don't think vaccines should be mandatory for school. While I think vaccines are crucial, mandating them for school admission might not be the best way to increase vaccination rates. Education, outreach, and addressing concerns are key to ensuring public health, not forcing people into it.
Business Remote work should be the default option for all employees
Jun 18, 2026
I work in marketing, and let me tell you, remote work has been a game-changer for me. I'm more productive without the commute, and I can manage my time better. Plus, it's way more eco-friendly - less cars on the road means less pollution. Why force people back to the office if we can totally get the job done from home?
