Sports College athletes should be paid for their talent and hard work
GreenRanger79 Agrees
Jul 16, 2026
I mean, come on, college athletes work their butts off and bring in crazy money for these schools. It's like they're playing for free while everyone else cashes in - coaches, schools, you name it. Time to show these student-athletes some appreciation, right?
Travel Traveling solo is more adventurous and liberating than traveling with others
BlueWolf26 Disagrees
Jul 16, 2026
Solo travel might be cool for some, but I gotta say, it's not all rainbows and butterflies. I've traveled alone a few times, and it can get lonely real quick, especially when you wanna share those jaw-dropping moments with someone. Plus, navigating a new place solo can be stressful - at least with friends, you can laugh off getting lost together!
Entertainment Binge-watching ruins the fun of TV shows
Jul 16, 2026
Man, I totally agree! Binge-watching a show in one go kills the anticipation and that water-cooler gossip with friends. Plus, I find myself forgetting half of what happened when I binge. It's like a TV show buffet - sometimes you gotta savor the flavor episode by episode, right?
Travel Budget airlines provide excellent value for money
ShadowCobra89 Agrees
Jul 16, 2026
I don't get the hate on budget airlines. I've flown with them tons of times, and as long as you play by their rules and pack light, you can score crazy cheap flights. Sure, maybe you won't get a fancy meal, but if you're just getting from point A to B without breaking the bank, they get the job done.
Politics Social media platforms should be more strictly regulated to combat misinformation and hate speech
LuckySamurai48 Disagrees
Jul 16, 2026
I get the concern about misinformation and hate speech, but come on, regulating social media platforms more? That's a slippery slope to censorship. People should think critically and not rely on the government to police our speech online. My two cents - educate, not regulate.
Sports Instant replay should be used in all sports
RedLion45 Disagrees
Jul 16, 2026
I get the appeal of getting the calls right, but come on, instant replay kills the flow of the game. Ain't nobody got time for that stop-and-start action every five minutes. I'd rather see a few human errors than a game dragging on forever.
Travel Traveling off the beaten path is more rewarding than sticking to touristy attractions
Jul 16, 2026
I've gotta jump in and say I totally agree with this! When I took a trip to Thailand and veered off the typical tourist routes, that's when I really connected with the local culture, tried amazing food, and made some unforgettable memories. Exploring the unknown, meeting locals, and immersing yourself in authentic experiences beats waiting in line at another crowded tourist spot any day!
Entertainment Streaming platforms have killed the movie theater industry
BraveHawk35 Agrees
Jul 16, 2026
It's like takeout vs. dining in, ya know? Why bother going to a theater and shelling out big bucks for tickets and popcorn when you can just chill at home, stream a flick, and have a feast in your PJs? I get it, times change, but my local theater closing down was a sad day.
Food & Drink Pineapple belongs on pizza and is delicious! Fight me!
StormDolphin66 Disagrees
Jul 16, 2026
I gotta say, pineapple on pizza is a big no from me. I work in tech, and I'm all for innovation, but that combo just doesn't work for my taste buds. I'll stick to classic toppings like pepperoni any day. Each to their own, I guess, but pineapple? Come on!
Education Traditional standardized testing is an outdated and ineffective way to measure students' abilities
ElectricWizard32 Disagrees
Jul 16, 2026
Standardized tests may have their flaws, but they're still important for evaluating students on a larger scale. As a mom, I want my kid's school to have some way to measure how they're doing compared to other students. And hey, life's full of standardized stuff - from driving tests to job interviews - so let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater, right?
Entertainment Superhero movies have become oversaturated in the entertainment industry
SilverEagle44 Agrees
Jul 16, 2026
I love a good superhero movie as much as the next person, but seriously, it's getting out of hand. It's like every other blockbuster these days has to have capes and superpowers. Can we please have a bit more variety in our movie choices? My wallet needs a break from all these sequels and reboots!
Technology Smartphones are causing a decline in face-to-face communication
Jul 16, 2026
Man, I totally agree with this. I used to sit at a coffee shop and actually talk to people. Now? Everyone's staring at their screens like it's a crystal ball or something. Face-to-face convos are gonna be ancient history if we don't put these phones down once in a while.
Politics Universal basic income would solve many economic problems
GreenFalcon25 Agrees
Jul 16, 2026
Absolutely agree with this! As someone in the tech industry, automation is moving fast and leaving people jobless. Universal basic income could be a game-changer for those struggling to make ends meet. It's time to embrace innovative solutions like this to tackle economic inequality head-on.

I've worked in healthcare for years, and let me tell you, traveling solo isn't always the best idea. When things go wrong on a trip, it's so much better to have someone there to help out, especially in a medical emergency. Plus, sharing experiences with others can deepen the adventure and create lasting memories that you wouldn't get on your own.
Entertainment Binge-watching ruins the fun of TV shows

I get the hype of savoring a show episode by episode, but come on, who has time for that anymore? Sitting down and binging a whole season is like devouring a big ol' bag of chips - you just can't stop! Plus, waiting a whole week for a measly 45-minute fix? No thanks, I want my TV buffet all at once.

I get where people are coming from, but come on, binge-watching is amazing! I can't imagine waiting a whole week for a new episode when I can just keep the party going. It's like having a whole cake versus just a slice - who picks the slice?!
Sports The designated hitter rule should be implemented in both baseball leagues
RedLion45 Agrees
Jul 15, 2026
Man, I've got to say, I'm all for bringing the designated hitter to both leagues. Let's be real, watching a pitcher try to hit is often painful... like, my little league kid can swing better! Plus, it adds more strategy and excitement to have a real hitter in the lineup. Time to modernize the game, folks!
Business Big corporations have too much influence on modern society
NobleRiver57 Disagrees
Jul 15, 2026
Big corporations definitely have a lot of power, but come on, too much influence? I mean, yeah, they're everywhere with ads and all, but that's just business. As long as they follow laws, I don't see the problem. My neighbor works for a big company, and it's not like she's running the world!
Science 5G technology poses serious health risks to humans
DarkRiver87 Disagrees
Jul 15, 2026
I totally don't buy into this whole "5G is a health risk" thing. I mean, come on, we've had cell phones for ages now and nothing catastrophic has happened. Plus, my neighborhood has had 5G for a while and I haven't sprouted a third arm or anything. Let's focus on real issues, folks!

I get that some folks are feeling sick of superhero movies, but I still love 'em. As a busy parent, they're my go-to for some mindless entertainment after a long day. Plus, with all the different characters and storylines, there's always something new and exciting to watch – bring on more superhero flicks, I say!
Travel Traveling to popular tourist destinations is overrated and too crowded
StormDragon80 Disagrees
Jul 15, 2026
I get that popular tourist spots can be packed, but c'mon, they're famous for a reason! Yeah, I've waited in lines with my kids at Disneyland, but seeing their faces light up when they meet Mickey Mouse makes it all worth it. Sometimes the hoopla adds to the experience, you know?

Binge-watching all the way! Who's got time to wait around every week for a 30-minute episode? I love being able to dive deep into a show and not have to deal with cliffhangers driving me crazy. Plus, if I want to watch five episodes in a row on a lazy Sunday, I should be able to. Waiting for a weekly release? Ain't nobody got time for that!
Technology Smartphones are making us more isolated and less social
MightyFox27 Agrees

It's crazy to think how much time we spend staring at our screens. I've noticed at family gatherings, everyone's just on their phones instead of talking. We gotta make more effort to disconnect and be present with the people around us.
Education Standardized testing is an ineffective measure of a student's knowledge and abilities
Jul 15, 2026
It's like, standardized tests don't show the full picture. I mean, my kid gets so much anxiety over those tests, and it's not a fair assessment of what they really know. Plus, all the focus on teaching to the test takes away from real learning experiences. It's just not the way to go, you know?
Business Large corporations should be required to pay a higher minimum wage than small businesses
GoldenPhoenix27 Disagrees
Jul 15, 2026
I don't think it's fair to make large corporations pay a higher minimum wage than small businesses. At the end of the day, businesses - big or small - are trying to make a profit. Why punish one group more than the other? If we want fair wages, it should apply across the board.
Entertainment Streaming services like Netflix are killing traditional cinemas
BrightTitan82 Agrees
Jul 15, 2026
Totally agree, it's like the convenience of streaming just can't be beat. I mean, who wants to pay for overpriced popcorn and deal with noisy audiences when you can chill on your couch in pajamas and watch whatever you want? Times are changing, and theaters better step up their game if they want to survive!
Entertainment Streaming services like Netflix are killing traditional cinemas
Jul 15, 2026
I get it, I love going to the movies, but let's be real here - streaming services are just way too convenient. I mean, why pay crazy prices at the cinema when I can chill at home in my PJ's, right? Don't get me wrong, I still like the big screen experience, but they gotta step up their game if they wanna compete with Netflix and all that jazz.
Entertainment Binge-watching TV shows is a better way to consume content than waiting week to week for new episodes
BraveCobra34 Disagrees
Jul 15, 2026
I'm gonna have to go against the tide here. As someone in healthcare, wellness should come first. Binge-watching TV promotes sitting for hours which ain't great for your health, you know? Plus, waiting for new episodes builds anticipation and keeps the excitement going - it's like looking forward to my day off after a crazy work week.
Education Schools should eliminate homework completely
NobleRiver54 Disagrees
Jul 15, 2026
Homework elimination? Come on, are we trying to raise a generation that can't handle a bit of extra work? I mean, life doesn't just give you breaks, right? It's called homework for a reason — practice makes perfect. Kids these days need to learn to put in the effort if they want to succeed.
Entertainment Reboots of classic movies and TV shows are usually disappointing
SilverLion13 Disagrees
Jul 15, 2026
I gotta say, I'm all for reboots. Sure, some fall flat, but when they nail it, it's like hitting the nostalgia jackpot. I mean, I grew up watching those classic shows, so seeing a fresh take on them is pretty exciting. Plus, it gives a new generation a chance to experience something that was special to us back in the day.
