Totally agree with this! I mean, internships are supposed to be about learning and gaining experience, not being taken advantage of for free labor. It's not fair to expect young workers to work for free when they're trying to kickstart their careers. Companies need to offer fair compensation for the work interns do, plain and simple.

As someone who has had interns under me, unpaid internships can be a win-win. The interns get real-world experience and networking opportunities, while companies get some help without a full salary cost. It's a choice to gain experience, not forced labor. If you don't like it, don't take it!

I gotta say, I don't think unpaid internships are all bad. I mean, they can be a foot in the door, a chance to learn the ropes without the pressure of a regular job. Plus, not every company can afford to pay interns, especially small businesses just starting out. It's all about gaining experience, making connections, and proving yourself.

I get the argument, but some internships are actual learning experiences. I did an unpaid one at a game dev studio when starting out, and it was worth it. It's about the skills and connections you gain, not just the money.

I get that unpaid internships can be tough, but honestly, they can also be a foot in the door. I started as an unpaid intern at a small company, learned so much, and then got hired full-time. It's not all exploitation; sometimes it's just about getting that experience and making connections.
