UBI sounds nice in theory, but come on, let's be real. Handing out money to everyone without addressing the root causes of inequality and poverty won't magically solve everything. We need systematic changes, not just a band-aid solution. Just throwing money at a problem doesn't always fix it, trust me, I've seen it.

I get the idea of universal basic income and all, but let's face it - it's not some magic fix for society’s problems. I mean, who's gonna foot the bill for that, right? We can't just ignore all the other factors at play here. People need jobs that pay fairly, not just handouts.

I see where you're coming from, but a UBI isn't meant to be a silver bullet - it's part of a bigger conversation about supporting people in a changing economy. Governments could explore funding options like taxes on high-income earners to make it work.
