Totally agree with this! I've visited those tourist traps and it's just crowds, overpriced stuff, and not really getting a feel for the place. When you hit up those off-the-beaten-path spots, you're helping local businesses, experiencing culture for real, and not just adding to the masses snapping selfies. Give me a hidden gem any day over a tourist mecca!
