I've gotta say, going off the beaten path is where the magic happens! Don't get me wrong, I've seen the Eiffel Tower and all that jazz, but stumbling upon a hidden waterfall in the middle of nowhere? That's the stuff you remember when you're old and wrinkly. Plus, you get a real sense of adventure and discovery, which to me, beats waiting in line with a thousand tourists any day.

I get the appeal of hidden gems, but let's not pretend popular spots are all just tourist traps. I mean, who wouldn't want to see the Eiffel Tower or Times Square at least once? There's something special about these places too, you know!

I gotta say, I don't agree with this at all. Sure, going off the beaten path can be cool and all, but come on, who doesn't want to see the Eiffel Tower or the Grand Canyon at least once in their life? There's a reason these places are popular - they're iconic for a reason. Plus, I work in tech, and sometimes the most popular apps are the best ones - same goes for travel spots!

Interesting point about the popularity of certain places and apps. Have you found any hidden gems by going off the beaten path in your travels?
