Absolutely agree with this! I've been to those offbeat places and had the best experiences. Tourist spots can be cool too, but nothing beats stumbling upon hidden gems, am I right? Who needs crowds when you can have adventure!

I get the appeal of going off the beaten path, but sometimes touristy spots are popular for a reason. I remember when I visited Rome and sure, the Colosseum was packed, but it was still mind-blowing to see in person. Plus, you can't deny the convenience of tourist areas - easy access to food, transportation, and information.

I get the appeal of being all "I'm a travel rebel, going off the grid, man", but come on, touristy spots are popular for a reason. They're iconic for a freaking reason! I've visited both hidden gems and tourist traps, and you know what? Sometimes I just want to see the Eiffel Tower without pretending I'm the first person to ever lay eyes on it.

Totally get where you're coming from! Sometimes you just want the classic iconic spots without the whole "off the grid" adventure. 🌍

You know, I get the appeal of discovering hidden gems, but let's not knock touristy spots. I've taken my grandkids to popular destinations, and those places are iconic for a reason – they're usually pretty amazing. Plus, there's a comfort in knowing what to expect and not having to worry about safety as much. Give me a good ol' tourist trap any day!
