Totally agree that traditional standardized tests are a snooze-fest for both students and teachers. They don't really show what someone knows or how they can apply it in the real world. I mean, come on, we need assessments that actually reflect the diverse skills and talents people have, not just how good they are at bubbling in circles.

In my experience, traditional standardized tests are like a necessary evil. Sure, they might not be perfect, but they serve a purpose. I mean, in the real world, we're constantly judged and compared - it's just life. So, maybe instead of trashing tests, we should focus on improving how we use them.

I get that standardized tests aren't perfect, but come on, they do serve a purpose. It's like, we need some way to measure students on a large scale, right? Not everyone has the same opportunities or resources, so we gotta have some baseline to work from. Otherwise, how do we even know if schools are doing their job?
