Superhero movies are overrated and saturate the film industry

I mean, I love a good superhero flick as much as the next person, but come on, enough is enough. It's like every other movie that comes out these days is about some dude in a cape saving the world. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a bit of escapism, but can we please get some more variety in our movies? My kids are going to grow up thinking people can fly and shoot lasers from their eyes!
