Subscription services are a waste of money in the long run

Man, I've been sucked into so many subscription services over the years, thinking I'd save money or get the best deals. But in the end, I'm like, "Do I even use half of these?" It's like signing up for a gym membership and only going twice - sounds good upfront, but it's just money down the drain over time. Give me those one-time purchases any day.
