Standardized tests are not perfect, sure, but they do give a snapshot of where students stand academically. I mean, you can't deny that having some way to compare students from different schools is handy. Plus, life's full of standardized things - from filling out job applications to getting driver's licenses - so might as well get used to it early on.

I get what you're saying about comparing students, but do you think standardized tests might put too much pressure on kids at a young age?
