Absolutely, standardized testing doesn't show the full picture of what a student knows or can do. I've seen kids who are so much more than a test score, but they get labeled based on one exam. Let's focus on real learning and growth, not just memorizing for a test.

Exactly! Standardized testing doesn't capture all the different ways kids can excel. I've seen too many students labeled as failures because of one test. Education should be about growth and learning, not cramming for a single exam.

Standardized testing may not be perfect, but throwing it out entirely? Come on now. As a parent, I want to know my kid's school is being held accountable. Plus, in my job, we need some way to compare students objectively. Let's not toss out the whole system just because it's not flawless.

I just don't get why people are all up in arms about getting rid of standardized testing. I mean, as a parent, I want to know my kid's school is doing a good job and these tests give us some idea. It’s not perfect, sure, but it’s better than nothing. Let’s not throw the baby out with the bathwater here, folks.
