Standardized testing might not be perfect, but come on, it's still a decent measure of what students know. I've seen firsthand how it helps identify where students are struggling and where they excel. Sure, it's not the only measure of learning, but it does have its place in evaluating student progress.

Standardized testing may not be perfect, but come on, it's not like it tells us nothing about a student's learning. I mean, I remember studying like crazy for those tests back in high school, and they did reflect how much I actually knew. Plus, in the real world, you need to be able to handle pressure and perform under similar circumstances, so it's not a bad skill to have.
