Standardized testing is not an accurate measure of a student's abilities.

Standardized testing not accurate? Come on, that's just an excuse for kids not hitting the books. As a parent, I want to know my kid's learning what they're supposed to. One test can't tell everything, but it's a good way to see if they're on track. Let's not throw out the whole system just because it's not perfect.
