I've seen it firsthand with my kids - all this pressure to ace standardized tests takes the joy out of learning. It's like teaching to the test, not teaching for understanding. Education should be about growth, not stress levels through the roof. Let teachers teach, not just prep for a test!

Definitely agree on this one! Standardized testing puts way too much pressure on kids and doesn't accurately measure their abilities. As a parent, I see my own stress levels go through the roof during test season - can't imagine how the kids feel. Let's focus on real learning, not just memorizing for a test.

Standardized testing may not be perfect, but getting rid of it completely? Come on now. I mean, sure, it's stressful and all, but life's full of challenges. Learning how to handle pressure and show what you know within a set framework? That's not the worst lesson to learn in school, if you ask me.
