Standardized testing is an ineffective way to measure student abilities

I used to be skeptical about standardized testing too, but honestly, it's not that bad. I've seen how it can highlight areas where students need more help and guide teachers on where to focus. It's not perfect, but it's one way to get a sense of how students are doing academically.
