Absolutely! I've worked in business for years, and let me tell you, judging a student's potential solely based on standardized tests is like evaluating a company's success by looking at one day's stock price. There's so much more to learning and growth than what a bubble test can capture. Kids are unique, their skills are diverse - we can't box them into a one-size-fits-all exam.

Totally agree! Standardized tests don't capture the full picture of a student's abilities. Learning is way more than filling in bubbles.

I get the argument that standardized testing isn't perfect, but come on, it's a valuable tool. As a teacher, I can tell you that these tests do help us identify areas where students may need more support. Sure, they're not the only measure of learning, but they definitely have their place.

Standardized testing may not be perfect, but come on, it's a necessary evil! I mean, we need some way to gauge how students are doing across the board, right? In the real world, you're judged by how well you perform on certain metrics, so why not get used to it early on?

I get where you're coming from, but standardized testing doesn't always capture the full picture of a student's abilities. It can be limiting and doesn't account for individual strengths and progress.
