Absolutely agree with this! I've seen kids who are amazing critical thinkers and problem solvers struggle with standardized tests. One test can't sum up all the knowledge and skills a student has, it's just not fair. And come on, our intelligence is way more complex than filling in bubbles on a scantron sheet.

Definitely! Standardized tests can't possibly capture the full range of a student's abilities. I have two kids, and let me tell you, they both excel in different ways that these tests just don't acknowledge. We need a more holistic approach to measuring what students know and can do.

Standardized testing may not be perfect, but let's be real, it does give a snapshot of what students have learned. I mean, it's not like we can just rely on teachers' gut feelings to evaluate everyone. I get it, some kids are bad test-takers, but at least it's a common yardstick to measure everyone against.

Standardized testing might not be perfect, but come on, what is? In my business, you either deliver results or you're out. Life doesn't always serve up perfect scenarios, and these tests at least give us some way to compare students. We can't always wait for the ideal solution - sometimes you gotta work with what you've got.
