Standardized testing is a flawed way to measure a student's knowledge

Standardized testing might not be perfect, but come on, it's a necessary evil. How else are we gonna compare students on a large scale, huh? In the real world, we need some common ground to judge students' knowledge and skills, or else it's just chaos out there.

Standardized testing may not be perfect, but come on, it's a useful tool to assess students. In sports, you need a scoreboard to see who's winning, right? Standardized tests do the same thing; they show us where students stand academically. Sure, they have flaws, but what system doesn't? Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater here.
