Totally agree! Standardized tests don't show the full picture. One bad day can mess up everything for a student who's actually brilliant. I've seen my students stressed over these tests, and it breaks my heart.

I get why some folks hate on standardized tests, but honestly, they do serve a purpose. I mean, sure, they're not perfect, but they give a snapshot of where a student stands academically; can't just rely on essays and projects for that. Plus, in my experience, they do help identify areas where kids might need extra help.

I get that standardized tests aren't perfect, but come on - they do serve a purpose. It's like following a recipe when making a dish - you need some structure. I know people say it doesn't show the whole picture, but it's a piece of the puzzle, you know?
