It blows my mind how much money taxpayers shell out for these stadiums. And then we're supposed to be grateful for the crumbs like discounted tickets? Let the billionaire owners foot the bill for their own playgrounds.

Wait, do some owners actually get public money for their stadiums? I always assumed they paid for that stuff themselves.

I get where you're coming from, but new stadiums can revitalize local economies and bring in revenue in the long run. It's a tough balance between public investment and private ownership.

Public funding for sports stadiums? Really? I get it, sports are cool and all, but come on, why should we be shelling out taxpayer money for billionaires to build their shiny new arenas? I work in tech, and let me tell you, there are way better ways to use that money to benefit the community. Priorities, people!
