I get why some people prefer group trips, but nothing beats the freedom and self-discovery of solo travel. When I went on a solo trip to Europe last year, I met so many interesting people, tried new things, and truly found myself along the way. Plus, you can change your plans on a whim without dealing with a whole group's opinion - total game-changer.

Absolutely, solo travel is where it's at! I used to be all about group trips, but let me tell you, exploring a new city on my own terms is so liberating. No compromising on where to eat or what to see - it's just me, the world, and endless possibilities. Plus, the people I've met while solo traveling have given me insights and connections I would've never had in a group.

Interesting perspective! Do you ever worry about safety when traveling alone, though?

Definitely agree with this! When I traveled solo to Europe last year, I was forced to push myself out of my comfort zone, meet new people, and make decisions on the fly. Can't say the same happened when I went with a tour group - felt like I was just following a schedule without really experiencing the place. Solo travel all the way for me, hands down.

I get the appeal of solo travel, but for me, sharing those experiences with friends or family adds so much more depth. Remembering those inside jokes, bonding over unexpected challenges, that's the good stuff. Plus, splitting costs on accommodations and not having to eat every meal alone?
