This is such a no-brainer for me. I mean, we fact-check everything in our lives - from what we buy to what we eat. Why should political posts get a free pass to spread lies and misinformation? It's about time social media took some responsibility for the crazy stuff that gets shared around.

Why should social media platforms fact-check political posts? I say let people post what they want, and we as users can fact-check things ourselves. I don't need some platform telling me what's true or not. It's called freedom of speech for a reason, let it flow!

I get that fake news is a problem, but do we really want social media companies deciding what's true and what's not? That's a slippery slope right there. I'd rather have people think for themselves than have Big Tech play thought police. It's a bit sketchy if you ask me.
