Social media definitely needs to step up and crack down on hate speech and fake news. In my small town, rumors spread like wildfire on Facebook, causing unnecessary drama. It's just common sense - we need to stop letting lies and hate pollute the internet and our communities.

I get that hate speech and fake news are bad news bears, but censoring them on social media? I'm not so sure about that. Who decides what's hate speech? It's a slippery slope, and I'm not comfortable with a few big companies having that much power over what we see and hear. Just my two cents.
