Absolutely, social media platforms should definitely be responsible for fact-checking content. I've seen so many blatantly false things spread like wildfire, causing real harm. It's not about stifling free speech, it's about stopping the dangerous spread of misinformation. Plus, these companies profit off our data, so the least they can do is keep us safe from lies and propaganda.
