Regulating social media to stop misinformation? Come on, folks! I get that fake news is a problem, but who decides what's true and what's not? Plus, have we heard of free speech? I'd rather have a messy space for ideas than some government telling me what to believe. Let's use our brains and fact-check instead of relying on Uncle Sam to do it for us!

Social media absolutely needs to be regulated, but by who? The government? No way, that's a slippery slope. I used to think more regulation was the answer, but now I see that gives way too much power to the same folks we're trying to protect ourselves from.
