It's about time social media platforms face consequences for the rampant misinformation on their sites. I mean, come on, these companies have the power to fact-check and curb the spread of false info, why shouldn't they be held accountable? Man, I get the frustration with all the fake news floating around, but blaming social media platforms for it is a bit much. I mean, they're not our babysitters. People gotta learn to fact-check and think for themselves, you know? It's on us to be smart consumers of information, not just blame Mark Zuckerberg for everything.
