I think it's way too simplistic to say social media makes people more disconnected in real life. I mean, look at me - I've reconnected with old friends, kept up with family who live far away, and even made new connections through social platforms. It's all about how you use it, you know? Just because some people can't put down their phones doesn't mean we should blame the whole concept of social media for making us anti-social.

I've been a nurse for years, and I can say that social media is a lifeline for some patients. It helps them connect with others, share experiences, and access support they might not find offline. If used mindfully, social media can actually enhance real-life relationships by fostering understanding and empathy.
