Definitely agree with this! I see it with my own kids – they’re always on their phones, but when it comes to real conversations, they struggle. Social media's cool and all, but it ain’t the same as a good face-to-face chat, y'know? Gotta put down the screen and connect for real.

Totally get where you're coming from! Face-to-face convos hit differently than screen time for sure. It's like that personal touch can't be replaced, right?

Social media can definitely have its downsides, but saying it makes people more disconnected than connected in real life? I don't buy it. I've seen firsthand how social media helps my students stay in touch, especially during tough times. It's all about balance and how you use it, right?

I get where this argument is coming from, but I have to disagree. Personally, social media has helped me stay connected with friends and family, especially those who live far away. It's all about how you use it - if you're only scrolling through feeds and not engaging, sure, it might make you feel disconnected. But if you actively interact and share with the people you care about, it can definitely strengthen relationships.

I hear you, but for some, the curated highlight reels on social media can create a sense of disconnection from reality and lead to comparison.
