Social media is ruining the travel experience

Is our obsession with documenting every moment on social media taking away from enjoying the actual travel experience?

I totally agree with this! I mean, we used to travel for the experience itself, not just to get likes on Instagram, you know? It's like people are more focused on the perfect selfie than actually soaking up the culture or enjoying the moment. I remember my trip to Thailand - half the time was spent staging photos for social media instead of connecting with the place. It's sad, really.

Totally agree! I've been guilty of spending more time getting the perfect shot than actually soaking in the moment. It's like we're more focused on impressing our followers than making memories for ourselves. Seriously, put the phone down and enjoy the view, people!

Absolutely, social media is totally ruining the travel experience for a lot of folks. I can't tell you how many times I've seen people more focused on getting the perfect Instagram shot than actually soaking in the beauty of the place they're visiting. It's like they're not even there to enjoy themselves anymore, just to get content for likes. It's sad, really.
