Man, I gotta say, social media is like a minefield for young folks nowadays. It's all filters, likes, and FOMO. My daughter spends hours on Insta, stressing about her posts. Ain't no good coming out of that, trust me. Kids need real connections, not just virtual ones!

Social media being harmful for kids? Couldn't agree more. I mean, I see my neighbor's kid glued to their phone all day, comparing themselves to insta-famous people - it's like a race to be someone else. Plus, all those cyberbullying stories make my blood boil. It's a toxic digital jungle out there.

Man, as someone who's watched social media evolve, I totally think it's more harmful than good for young folks. The pressure to fit in, the comparison game, and the addiction to likes and followers - it's a toxic cycle that's messing with their heads big time. Sure, there are some benefits, but the mental health toll it's taking is just not worth it.

I get that social media has its downsides, but let's not ignore the positives, people! I mean, I've made amazing friends online, learned about important causes, and found a supportive community when I needed it most. It's not all doom and gloom, folks.

Social media gets a bad rap, but c'mon, it's not all evil. I get that there are downsides like FOMO and comparison, but let's not ignore the positives like staying connected with friends or finding support online. It's all about balance and individual responsibility - blaming social media for everything is just passing the buck.

I get what you're saying about balance, but sometimes the harms outweigh the benefits, especially for young folks. It's a tough call.

Social media gets a bad rap, but come on, it's not all bad for young people. Personally, I've seen my kid connect with friends, find support for struggles, and even discover new interests because of social media. It's all about balance and teaching them to navigate the digital world responsibly, not demonizing the whole thing.

Man, I gotta say, I disagree big time. I work in tech, and I see how social media can actually be a positive space for young people to express themselves and find communities. Sure, there are downsides, but let's not ignore the ways it can empower and connect them in a digital age.
