I know it's cool to connect with peeps from all over, but man, it seems like everyone's glued to their screens these days. I've seen friendships drift apart 'cause we're all too busy scrolling through feeds instead of hanging out. Real talk, social media's making us forget how to have proper face-to-face convos, and that's a real shame.

I get your point, but do you think it's more about how we use social media rather than the platform itself? Like, could we make an effort to balance it out better maybe?

I used to think social media was the devil for real-life connections, but honestly, I've seen it bring people together more than tear them apart. My neighborhood group chat? It's a lifesaver for organizing events and helping each other out. It's like having a digital community bulletin board - how can that be all bad?

I've got to say, I don't think social media is all bad when it comes to real-life connections. Sure, some folks might get a bit too caught up in their online lives, but for some of us, it's actually brought us closer to friends and family. I've had some deep conversations and meaningful moments thanks to social media, so I'm not ready to write it off as a relationship killer.

I don't buy that social media is making us more disconnected in real life. If anything, it's helped me stay connected with friends and family, especially those who live far away. I mean, who hasn't made plans with someone through a quick DM or tagged their friends in hilarious memes to bond over? Social media is what you make of it - if you're using it to replace face-to-face interactions, that's on you, not the platforms.
