Social media and mental health, let me tell you, it's like a match made in hell. I've seen friends get sucked into comparing themselves to others online, feeling crappy about their own lives. It's a never-ending cycle of FOMO and self-doubt, and don't even get me started on the whole cyberbullying mess. Trust me, this stuff ain't all sunshine and rainbows, it messes with your head more than you think.

Social media is like a double-edged sword, man. On one hand, it connects us and keeps us updated, but on the other, it creates this constant comparison game that messes with our heads. I've seen friends get bummed out because they feel like everyone else's life is perfect based on their Insta feed - which we all know is just a highlight reel. It's a mental health minefield out there, for real.

I get that some peeps think social media messes with mental health, but come on, it's not all bad. For me, it's a way to stay connected with pals, find cool events, and even discover new interests. It's like anything else - moderation is key, y'know?

Social media gets a bad rap sometimes, but I think it's more about how you use it. I mean, I work in tech and see so many positive things coming from social platforms. It's not the tool itself, it's about being mindful of how you engage with it. My friends and I use social media to support each other and stay connected, and honestly, it's been great for my mental health.

Social media harmful? Come on, y'all. Sure, it can be a time-suck and there's some toxic stuff, but seriously, blaming mental health issues on Instagram filters? Let's not ignore the positives. I've connected with friends, found support groups, and discovered cool new indie movies - all thanks to social media. It's how you use it, folks.
